The Promise (7’)

Program Notes:

Moving to a new place, even a new country, is something that people are doing more and more. Sometimes they leave their homes because they have to, sometimes because they want to. But in most cases they hold onto the promise of a better life that the new place represents. In this piece a story of bird migration merges with a story of human migration, as they all make the long, and sometimes difficult, journey with hope in their hearts.
