Ableton Live: Intro to Editing and Sound Design with Audiotrain UK

This introduction to how to use Ableton Live will give you all the tools you need to edit audio and create unique sound design using this powerful DAW. Designed for people who are new to Live, or who want a from-the-start-refresher, this online session will be hands-on with exercises and time for questions.

By the end of our time you will learn how to: navigate Live's 2 interfaces; manipulate and edit audio; record into Live; manipulate sounds for sound design; use basic plug-ins to transform sounds; export your project; and more!

This introduction to using MIDI in Ableton Live will give you the tools you need to create music for your projects. Designed for people with some knowledge of Live, or as a follow up to Intro to Live for Editing and Sound Design, this session will introduce you to MIDI and how use it to make music as well as more advanced sound design with Live.

This online session will be hands-on with exercises and time for questions. By the end of our time you will learn how to: create and manipulate MIDI files; use, swap, and alter MIDI instruments; create your own MIDI instruments; insert and automate effects, including spatial audio effects; and more!
